Action Direct is a hybrid electronic music album, very up tempo, and driving, with a sports theme. While not all the tracks are full high energy, like workout music, and none fit into a heroic theme motif, all are dynamic in their focus. This album is proudly electronic.

This album was created using what I refer to as a "hybrid" style of music between human (me) and artificial intelligence. I believe this is the future of music production. In this specific album a few of the tracks are 100% myself, created in my own studio. But several tracks are a combination of myself creating partial songs, chord progressions, patterns, sequences, riffs, etc. and working them into AI apps such as Suno, Udio and Riffusion, then exporting those tracks - often a few similar versions, then taking them back into my digital studio, and either adding my own sounds, editing them and splicing them together, or reworking them. Once I get moving this process can have it's own flow, even though it also has its own challenges.

This album has numerous influences, from Kraftwerk to Tangerine Dream, Rick Wakeman, John Tesh, Yanni, Sam Spence, John Scott and others.
